Kathy Napoli is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice in Vail, Colorado. Ms. Napoli attended DePaul University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She then moved to Colorado and earned her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Denver. Following the completion of her master’s degree, she provided social and emotional counseling to adolescents in school-based settings while earning her certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. While continuing her work, she chose to return to the University of Denver to obtain a post graduate certificate in trauma and response.
Ms. Napoli has over 20 years of mental health experience in a variety of settings including school counseling in both a university and K-12 setting, community mental health, integrated health care and private practice. She is passionate about helping others learn how to manage their anxiety and she is a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Provider.
Upon moving to Vail in 2018, she was a School Counselor at Vail Mountain School before re-engaging in private practice. Prior to moving to Vail, she headed the gO Orthopedics + Sports Medicine Mental Health program in Crested Butte, Colorado. There, she prided herself in providing patients with a fully integrative approach that treated the physical and mental health of a person as equal. Ms. Napoli brings a Solution Focused Modality to working with her clients and is also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She believes in a strengths-based approach to empower and improve her client’s ability to attain personal goals.
When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, running, skiing, writing, live music, and traveling.
