Kathy Napoli Counseling, founded in 2011, is a private practice providing psychotherapy founded by Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Kathy Napoli, located in Vail, Colorado. With over 24 years of experience in mental health counseling, Ms. Napoli specializes in helping individuals manage and rewire anxiety, challenge cogntive distortions and process trauma through a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). After earning her bachelor's degree in psychology from DePaul University in Chicago and her master's degree in social work from the University of Denver, she later returned to the University of Denver to earn a postgraduate degree in trauma and response in the therapeutic setting. Ms. Napoli has worked in various settings such as school counseling, community mental health, and integrated healthcare. Ms. Napoli has over 15 years of experience in higher education, implementing social and emotional curricula and providing student support. She is also a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Provider dedicated to providing effective solutions for her clients. Before establishing her private practice in Vail, Ms. Napoli served as a School Counselor at Vail Mountain School and previously to this led the gO Orthopedics + Sports Medicine Mental Health program in Crested Butte, Colorado, where she focused on an integrative approach to treating injured athletes, and the importance of mental health.
